BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — The North Buffalo Farmers Market has canceled its 2020 season due to concerns about COVID-19.

Organizers say new fears about the virus were raised and several vendors opted out, resulting in the difficult decision to cancel this year's farmers market.

Previously, the Parkside Lutheran Church on Wallace Avenue offered a temporary home for the market.

The North Buffalo Organization thanked Pastor Jeremiah Smith, Delaware District Council Member Joel Feroleto, Danielle Rizzo of the City of Buffalo Special Events Office, BlueCross BlueShield, and many area residents who voiced their enthusiastic welcome to having the Market in their neighborhood.
