BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — This year's weather has brought about a happy Christmas tale. There's no snow, so people and pups took to The Barkyard.
"It was a warm Christmas day, and we didn't really have anything much to do so we just brought her to the dog park," Anthony Cruz said.
Cruz and his family brought their 2-year old Great Dane Harper to the park to run off some energy before their holiday dinner.

Charlie the 10-week-old Chocolate lab and Charlie the 16-week-old rescue from Puerto Rico both celebrated their first Christmases at the off-leash park with their owners. The girl, Charlie the brown lab, and boy, Charlie the black mutt, became fast friends.

The pups had lots of toys and treats from Santa to head home to.
"We don't even wrap them. we just give them to her, and she just destroys them," said Cruz.
But most importantly, a bath.
"She's going to need one from all the mud," Cruz said.
