BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — We are still waiting for a verdict in the excessive force case against Buffalo Police Officer Corey Krug.

A big piece of the ongoing trial is video caught exclusively by 7 Eyewitness News the night before Thanksgiving, 2014 showing Krug on Chippewa beating a suspect on the ground with a night stick.

It's that video the jury seems to be centering its deliberations around. Thursday, the 12 person jury asked for testimony to be read back from a witness on Chippewa that Thanksgiving Eve.

Throughout the two-week trial, prosecutors painted a picture of Krug as a "bully with a badge." Krug and his attorneys have argued the use of force in each of the three cases was "justified." They say throughout his nearly 20 year career with Buffalo Police, he has been assigned to some of the "toughest beats in the city."

The jury will resume deliberations tomorrow.
