BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — A federal grand jury returned a 16 count indictment charging a Niagara Falls man with with 15 counts of production of child pornography and one count of possession of child pornography.
34-year-old Jonathon R. Cassatt allegedly used his cell phone to produce child pornography involving a minor victim on 15 different occasions between 2017 and 2019.
Officials say the charges are the result of a criminal complaint filed in November 2019 and an investigation by the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Niagara Falls Police Department.
Cassatt faces a minimum of 15 years in prison and a maximum of 30 years, and a $250,000 fine.
