CLARENCE, N.Y. (WKBW) — A Niagara Falls man is accused of assaulting an elderly woman.
It was back on May 21, when State Police say an 81-year-old female shopper at Valu Home Center in Clarence was followed in the parking lot by 34-year-old Jedidiah J. Aiken. Police say Aiken was aggressively asking the woman for money. Fearing for her safety, police say the woman tried returning to the store on Transit Road when she fell, hurting her knee, nose and mouth. According to authorities, Aiken left the scene but was soon arrest for Assault 3rd.
Aiken was issued an appearance ticket for future arraignment in the Town of Clarence Court.
