Niagara Falls International Film Festival opens its doors today

NIAGARA FALLS, N.Y. (WKBW) — The Niagara Falls International Film Festival kicks off for its second time September 18, bringing more films and stars than ever before. This year, the festival will feature 27 feature films and 44 short films. There will also be star appearances from Robert Carradine, Lou Gossett Jr., and Mikaela Astel.

New this year:

  • The "Icon of the Industry Award" ⁠— The first recipient will be Samuel Fuller
  • The Niagara Falls International Film Festival "Star of Fame" ⁠— Cheryl Boone Isaacs and Mark Bridges will be the first recipients
