Niagara Falls announces second annual 'Festival of Slice'

NIAGARA FALLS, N.Y. (WKBW) — A celebration of Niagara Falls pizza is set to take place Saturday December 7th.

The second annual "Festival of Slice," which is part of the annual "Jingle Falls USA" programming in Niagara Falls, will take place inside the Conference & Event Center Niagara Falls from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.

With 19 Niagara County pizzerias involved organizers say this years event is going to be “bigger, better and cheesier!”

The inaugural Festival of Slice drew 1,200 attendees which led to the need to move the event to a bigger venue.

“We were blown away by the popularity of this event last year,” said Susan Swiatkowski, tourism development manager at Destination Niagara USA. “We will never underestimate the power of pizza again."

  • Marino’s Subs & More
  • Mister B’s Restaurant & Tavern

  • Submaster’s Bar & Grill
  • Tree Top Pizza & Grill

Admission is free, tickets will be sold to purchase a slice of pizza for $1 per slice.
