NIAGARA FALLS, N.Y. (WKBW) — The Niagara County SPCA hosted its first shelter dog reunion Saturday morning.
This gave staff an opportunity to catch up with the same dogs they cared for before they were adopted.
Just Pizza in Amherst provided complimentary pizza, drinks and desserts to adopters to thank them for adopting a shelter dog.
Mary Alloy, owner of Just Pizza, came up with the idea of reuniting the shelter dogs who were adopted between February and up until now.
Just Pizza has been attaching flyers of adoptable dogs to its pizza boxes for months, offering anyone who adopts the dogs a $50 certificate to the pizza shop.
