BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — The pending sale of Niagara Catholic High School in Niagara Falls has been finalized. The Buffalo Diocese announced the school has been sold to The Chapel at Crosspoint for $750,000.
Plans for the sale were first announced in July. The Diocese announced in 2018 the school would close due to a "significant reduction in Diocesan financial support, coupled with continued enrollment declines and growing financial challenges".
Niagara Catholic High School was established in 1975. It was one of several schools to lose financial support from the Diocese.
The Chapel plans to use the property as a home for religious and community activities.
