BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — An NFTA Police K9 has passed away after experiencing a cardiac event over the weekend.
Fez, a 4-year-old German Shepherd, was in the process of completing his training as a patrol/narcotics K9. He and his partner were scheduled to complete their certification this week.
NFTA Police say despite the short time Fez was with the department, he formed a close bond with his partner.
