NFTA Metro Rail service resumes after being shut down due to police emergency

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — The Niagara Frontier Transportation Authority says the Metro Rail service has resumed after service was disrupted Thursday due to a police emergency.

Officials say a man appeared to jump in front of the inbound train track at the Lasalle Station and suffered serious fatal injuries around 12:20 p.m.

Service was disrupted until about 3 p.m. Thursday.
