BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — An NFTA bus has been caught on camera running a red light at Colvin and Brighton.
The video was shared with 7 Eyewitness News by Joe Hrycych, who caught the video on his dash cam.
The video was shot shortly before 5:00 p.m. on Friday. In the video, you can see the light turn red for three seconds. The bus then enters the intersection blowing through the red light.
NFTA Police Chief George Gast says the department is investigating. He says any driver breaking the law must face consequences.
"Our biggest concern is safety," he said. "If we have an employee who is out there not being safe, we must investigate."
