BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — There's gymnastics, parkour, trampolines and a ninja course at the Superhero Training Academyo n Hopkins Road in Amherst.

Inspired by playing video games, founder Sean Haney wanted to create a space where people could move like superheros, jumping ropes, rock climbing, running up walls, and climbing all over wooden structures. He built the place himself with some help form contractors.

But it's more focused on play rather than loosing weight and gaining muscle like you would at a regular gym.

"Go action adventure fitness is what we came up with," Haney said. "Getting fit through learning how to use yourself, how to climb, how to hang, and run and jump."

Parents are encouraged to play and workout with their kids. People can buy single or multi-session classes. Open mornings, after school and weekends you can try out this new playground right now.
