ALBANY, N.Y. (WKBW) — A bill introduced by State Senator Tim Kennedy that would allow New York minors to play bingo with adult supervision has passed the New York State Senate.

You can read the measure here. It amends the current law by introducing one line that allows minors to play.

A similar bill has been introduced and sponsored by some of Western New York's representatives in the New York State Assembly. But it has not yet moved out of committee.

In 2017, a law took effect barring minors from playing.
