BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — There is a new effort underway to get David Bellavia to run for Congress.
The Western New York native just received the Medal of Honor from President Trump.
Local Republican political strategist Michael Caputo set up a website to try and gauge what kind of support Bellavia would have if he ran for the seat currently held by Chris Collins.
The website's tagline is "principle, honor and integrity."
Bellavia himself has nothing to do with the website.
He currently is working with the army and cannot run for office while a member of the military.
