BUFFALO, NY (WKBW) — A new piece of public art is helping to spruce up part of Buffalo's historic Allentown neighborhood.
Local artists Mickey Harmon and Ari Moore are creating a new pride mural on the side of Q Bar on Allen Street.
The mural highlights the ongoing struggles for the LGBTQ community.
It features many people instrumental to the gay rights movement, including local activists, and Stonewall activists with some kind of ties to Western New York.
This is all part of the Albright-Knox public art initiative.
Work on the mural is expected to be finished by Friday of next week.
