BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — The newest mural on Hertel Avenue is paying tribute to Western New York's frontline workers.

The mural which was designed by local artist Chuck Tingley, is recognizing those who are fighting to keep our community’s needs safely met during the coronavirus pandemic.

“The Baird Foundation is thrilled to partner with Council Member Joel Feroleto and Chuck Tingley to provide financial support for this inspiring mural as a lasting tribute to our essential workers. Mr. Tingley is graciously donating his time and talent, and it’s The Baird Foundation’s honor and privilege to fund his supplies and expenses,” said Catherine F. Schweitzer, Executive Director, The Baird Foundation.

You can find this mural at 1235 Hertel Avenue in the Hertel Alley.
