BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — A new K-9 crime fighter is heading to the Erie County Sheriff's Office.

Clipper, a 1-1/2-year-old pure breed black Labrador retriever, will help with fire investigations.

The pooch is trained to detect specific ignitable liquids and has performed more than 5,000 odor detecting tests during his training.

Clipper was raised in Texas and later transitioned to the Puppies Behind Bars Program before heading to the A.T.F. to participate in its accelerant detection canine program.
