BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — If you head down Hertel Avenue, you're sure to see Buffalo's newest piece of art, honoring a native rock group.
Local artist Philip Burke started coordinating with Zoom Buffalo a year ago to create a Goo Goo Dolls mural. The mural is on the side of 1212 Hertel and Lovering. Rory Allen of Zoom Buffalo says they created the work on a 2' by 6' canvas, before scaling it up to 24 x 48.
As of Saturday, the pair said the mural is about 90% done, but they couldn't wait to share the photo below.
