DEPEW, N.Y. (WKBW) — Lemon-Ups, a new crispy cookie with lemon glaze is not coming to Western New York. This new brand of cookie was made by Little Brownie Bakers, one of the two bakers for Girl Scouts of America.

Western New York uses ABC Bakers and is the only region in New York State to do so.

"So, our cookies may have different names than Across the United States," product program manager for Girl Scouts of Western New York Laura Fakharzadeh said.

In our area, the main five girl scout cookies are Shortbread, Thin Mints, Caramel deLites, Peanut Butter Patties, and Peanut Butter Sandwiches.

The rest of New York State has Thin Mints, Samoas, Tagalongs, Do-si-dos, and Trefoils.

The cookies look nearly identical and the ingredients are practically the same.

The same goes for the new Lemon-Up cookies. They are equivalent to the already produced lemonades, however the only difference, Lemon-Ups have slogans engraved in them while the lemonades do not.
