BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — Authorities in Buffalo are beefing up their efforts in the fight against human trafficking.

The U.S. Attorney's Office is working with local law enforcement to train people on prevention. It held a conference in Buffalo on Tuesday and is hosting second training conference in Rochester on Wednesday. The events feature experts from across the country.

The U.S. Attorney's Office also unveiled a new public service announcement to draw more attention to the problem.

This is all part of Human Trafficking Awareness Month.
