CHEEKTOWAGA, N.Y. (WKBW) — Buffalo Niagara International Airport officials says traffic at the airport is being diverted because of a natural gas leak.

Airport officials say construction crews caused the gas leak on the west side of the airport. The pipes have been shut off as a result of the leak.

Crews are working to fix the issue.

Flights are not being affected at this time, but food service will be limited, airport officials say.
