NIAGARA COUNTY, N.Y. (WKBW) — Multiple animals are dead following two fires in Niagara County over the weekend.
Authorities say two goats and a dozen chickens have died after flames ripped through a detached garage on Ward Road in Wheatfield just after 4 o'clock, Saturday morning.
In addition, three cats are believed to have died following a fire at an apartment complex on Ridge Road in Newfane around 4:30, Saturday morning.
The Niagara County Sheriff's Office is investigating both of these fires.
