More than 20 people being assisted after Buffalo fire

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — Buffalo fire crews were called to a two-alarm fire on Garner Avenue Monday evening.

According to officials, the fire started on a lower floor of a multi-family dwelling on Garner Avenue. The fire spread to a neighboring home.

The Red Cross is assisting 22 people in total, from both structures.

Damage is estimated at $200,000. The cause is currently under investigation.

There are no reports of any injuries.
