BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — More than 1,200 customers are without power across Western New York.

A majority of the power outages are in Wyoming County, where more than 650 NYSEG Java and Sheldon customers lost electricity Thursday.

Wind gusts over 50 mph and snow are creating issues for power companies and drivers across the region.

Almost 300 National Grid customers in Erie County also don't have any power.
