DEPEW, N.Y. (WKBW) — A GoFundMe page has been set up to help a Depew mother of two who lost everything when a fire ripped through her home Thursday afternoon.

Flames, fanned by high winds, broke out around 4 p.m. on Norman Drive and extended to a neighboring home and a garage. Five structures were damaged altogether.

According to the homeowner's sister, the mother of two boys, ages 8 and 6, was working in the basement when a neighbor ran over to tell her the garage was on fire. She took her two boys and two dogs and got out of the house immediately. No one was hurt.

"Anyone who knows Kelly, knows that she is willing to drop everything for anyone close to her! She would give you the shirt off of her back in a heartbeat," her sister writes on the GoFundMe page. "She has a heart of gold and has raised her boys as a single, working mom for almost their entire lives!"
