ASHVILLE, N.Y. (WKBW) — A Chautauqua County mom was arrested Tuesday for Endangering the Welfare of a Child.
Troopers said Natalie Wescott, 24, of Ashville left her one-year-old child alone when she went to run errands. Someone contacted the police when they saw the toddler wander into the roadway.
Troopers said the home Wescott and the toddler living in was in a deplorable state. Child Protective Services was contacted and Wescott was transported to the state police barracks in Jamestown.
She is scheduled to appear in court at a later date.
