Mom and five puppies abandoned, SPCA serving Allegany County investigating

SCIO, N.Y. (WKBW) — The SPCA serving Allegany County says a mom and five puppies were abandoned in the Town of Scio.

According to a Facebook post, officials responded to a possible dog abandonment call and discovered the six dogs.

The animals were transported for treatment and officials are asking for the public's assistance with any information on the possible owners of the dogs.
