BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — A mother, accused of abandoning her own baby, is now under arrest.
According to investigators, members of the Niagara Falls Police Department and the Marshals Task Force arrested 28-year-old Sherone Littleton at a home on Floss Avenue in Buffalo. Officers were trying to locate Littleton after she was accused of abandoning her 10-month-old child at the Seneca Niagara Casino hotel back on January 31.
Police say Littleton was taken into custody without incident and arraigned in Niagara Falls City Court on charges of Reckless Endangerment, Abandonment of a Child and Endangering the Welfare of a Child.
Littleton is due back in court on March 13.
