CHEEKTOWAGA, N.Y. (WKBW) — An error during a weekly security alert test lead to an evacuation and lock-down at at the Walden Galleria.
Cheektowaga Police say the mistake was made by Walden Galleria security personnel. A limited test alert should have been sent out but instead a "full alert" was issued, causing several stores to go into a lock-down.
Police say there was never an emergency or an incident at the Galleria.
