Missing New Jersey man's car found in Niagara Falls, police still searching for him

NIAGARA FALLS, N.Y. (WKBW) — A missing New Jersey man's car was found in a Niagara Falls hotel parking lot.

Joseph M. Lamartina was reported missing in Marlboro, New Jersey on December 14th. His car was found on February 8th, 2019 in the Niagara Falls Double Tree parking lot. Two witnesses reported seeing a man matching his description on January 2nd at the Sheraton on 3rd Street asking for money.

Police report Lamartina checked in to the hotel on December 15th, 2018 and checked out the following day. Another missing persons report has been filed for him in Niagara Falls.

Lamartina is 32 years old, with brown hair and brown eyes. He's 5'11" and 160 pounds. He has a Sicilian horn tattoo on his right shoulder. Anyone with information regarding this missing person is encouraged to call Niagara Falls Police detective Earp at (716) 286-4522.
