BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — Buffalo police have made an arrest after a man was shot in the head and killed on Shirley Avenue on Monday night.

Police said officers responded to the shooting on the 200 block of Shirley Avenue at about 8:30 p.m. Monday. Officers found a 33-year-old man shot in the head, and he was declared dead at the scene.

After a preliminary investigation, a suspect was identified and then apprehended. 24-year-old Jeremiah Henderson of Buffalo was charged with second-degree murder and second-degree criminal possession of a weapon.
