WYOMING COUNTY, N.Y. (WKBW) — Wyoming County Sheriff's deptuies were called to a tragic and deadly scene in the Town of Castile on Saturday.
When first responders arrived at a home on Rt. 19A they found 73-year-old Walter Pilc pinned beneath an overturned tractor.
Investigators say Mr. Pilc had been operating his residential compact tractor along the edge of a soy bean field directly behind his home when it overturned and pinned him underneath. He was found by a family member who went to check on him.
He was pronounced dead on the scene.
