BYRON, N.Y. (WKBW) — The Genesee County Sheriff's Office is investigating a Friday night crash which involved a van and farm tractor.
Sheriffs say a Dodge van operated by a Brockport man struck the manure spreader on the back of a tractor operated by a Byron man around 7 p.m. Friday night on North Bergen Road in the Town of Byron.
As a result of the crash the manure spreader separated from the tractor, ultimately coming to a stop along with the Dodge van in the middle of North Bergen Road.
The van suffered heavy front end damage.
A passenger in the Dodge van, Paul W. Tuttle of Bergen, was transported to Strong Memorial Hospital via Mercy Flight where he is listed in critical condition.
The other two individuals involved were treated for minor injuries.
