BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — Buffalo Police are investigating the death of a man, who was found outside the LBJ Apartment Complex on West Humboldt.

Police say they responded at 3:00 Saturday morning. Buffalo Homicide Detectives were called to the scene. At this point it is unclear how the man died.

According to neighbors who live in the Buffalo Municipal Housing Authority complex, the man named Allen Quigley fell as he was trying to rappel into what used to be his 9th floor apartment. Neighbors say Quigley recently evicted.

"I don't know if his rope broke or just what," said neighbor Russell Wehrman. "He was a nice guy."

Buffalo Police are still investigating the death. 7 Eyewitness News has not received a comment from the BMHA.
