AMHERST, N.Y. (WKBW) — Amherst Police say a Buffalo man faces multiple charges following the assault of a female at the University Manor Inn on Main street.
According to police, 20-year-old Eddie L. Roberts faces the following charges: strangulation, unlawful imprisonment, criminal possession of a weapon, assault, resisting arrest, obstruction of governmental administration and vehicle and traffic violations.
Police say when they arrived on scene they came in contact with a female who had been assaulted.
Roberts led Amherst Police, along with UB Police, on a foot pursuit down Main Street where he was ultimately taken into custody.
