COLLINS, N.Y. (WKBW) — The Erie County Sheriff's Office is investigating a deadly motorcycle crash in the Town of Collins.
Authorities say patrol units responded to a call just after 4:00 Wednesday afternoon about a man found on the ground near a motorcycle on Zoar Valley Road.
The 68-year-old man from Derby was taken by ambulance to an area hospital before being airlifted by Mercy Flight to Bertrand Chaffee Hospital where he later died.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
