BERGEN, N.Y. (WKBW) — A Stafford man is facing criminal charges after he allegedly pointed a laser at a military aircraft.
According to the State Police, Kevin Pietrzykowski, 63, was pointing a laser device at a National Guard Air Wing helicopter during a night training scenario on January 3rd.
Troopers patrolled the area that the laser was reportedly coming from and found Pietrzykowski after several interviews with witnesses.
Pietrzykowski was charged with directing a laser at an aircraft, a misdemeanor, and was given an appearance ticket.
