Man arrested for alleged shooting at Orleans County bar

TOWN OF CARLTON, N.Y. (WKBW) — New York State police announced an Albion man has been arrested after an alleged shooting at an Orleans County bar.

Police say the Orleans County Sheriff's Office responded to Roadies Pizzeria and Sports Bar on Oak Orchard Road in the Town of Carlton Thursday night around 11:30 for the report of shots fired from a vehicle.

Upon arrival the sheriff's office initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle driven by 52-year-old Scott Foley of Albion, he was the only occupant in the vehicle and was taken into custody.

Police say further investigation revealed Foley was intoxicated and he failed standard field sobriety tests.

He used a Stag Arms rifle to fire at the scene, according to police the weapon was recovered and no one was injured.

Foley was arraigned in Town of Carlton Court and remanded to the Orleans County Jail.

He faces multiple charges including criminal possession of a weapon and DWI.

Police say the investigation is ongoing at this time.
