DARIEN, N.Y. (WKBW) — The Genesee County Sheriff's Office arrested a Buffalo man following an investigation into claims he forcibly touched two minors under the age of 14 at Six Flags Darien Lake.

Authorities say 23-year-old Terrill J. Cunningham has been charged with sexual abuse in the first and second degree along with two counts of forcible touching. A Darien Lake spokesperson says Cunningham was a guest at the park at the time.

Police say the incidents happened around 6:30 Thursday evening in the theme park's wave pool. Cunningham was arrested and charged later that evening.

In a statement, Darien Lake said, "Our top priority is the safety of our guests and we have zero tolerance for any inappropriate behavior. The matter has been turned over to the Genesee County Sheriff's Office and we are cooperating fully with their investigation."

Cunningham was arraigned by a Darien Town Court judge, and currently sits in Genesee County Jail in lieu of $2,500 cash bail.

He is due back in court Tuesday, July 30th at 3:00 p.m.
