BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — Buffalo police announced they have arrested a suspect in a shooting that injured a man and a woman early Saturday morning.
According to police the shooting occurred around 3:40 a.m. in the area of East Delevan Avenue and Jefferson Avenue.
Police say a 23-year-old male and 24-year-old female were struck by gunfire, they were transported to ECMC where they were treated and released.
Police announced and arrest Monday morning, 25-year-old Elon Fitzgerald has been charged with assault and criminal possession of a weapon.
The incident was domestic in nature according to police.
