BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — A Rochester man now admits to killing his former stepfather at the Niagara Frontier Sports Complex in West Seneca.

41-year-old Andre Lewis has pleaded guilty in court to one count of Manslaughter for the deadly shooting back in April of 2017.

Authorities say an argument escalated into a fight in the lobby after a girls basketball game. Lewis eventually pulled out a pistol and shot 54-year-old Robert Echols. When Echols was trying to get up, Lewis shot him a second time.

Lewis is set to be sentenced June 6. He remains free on bail.
