Lockport teen arrested following Monday's bomb threat

LOCKPORT, N.Y. (WKBW) — Lockport Police say they responded to a bomb threat at Lockport High School Monday morning. After investigation, a fifteen-year-old has been arrested.

According to police, the threat was sent to the School District leading law enforcement agencies to search Lockport High School, North Park Middle School and Lockport High School West.

After the searches, it was determined the buildings were safe and the schools resumed their normal activities for the duration of the day.

Investigation led to the arrest of a 15 year old student for making a false report. Due to the juveniles age their name will not be released and the case will be referred to Family Court.
