UPDATE: Lockport Police announce Salas has been located as of Saturday afternoon.
ORIGINAL: Lockport Police are asking for the public's assistance locating a missing teen.
According to a post on the department's Facebook page Friday evening, 15-year-old Abigail Salas is missing.
Police say she was last seen leaving the Lockport Public Library and she may be in danger.
Salas was wearing a maroon hoodie with black pants, purple crocs and red rimmed glasses.
Police ask anyone with information to contact them immediately, they say she is still missing as of Saturday morning.
