Lockport man accused of providing lethal dose of drugs

ORLEANS COUNTY, N.Y. (WKBW) — Police have arrested a Lockport man on charges he provided a lethal combination of heroin and fentanyl to 22-year old Wade Sargent back on March 25, 2017.

Officers picked up 27-year old James White on January 22nd. He's charged with manslaughter and criminal sale of a controlled substance. More arrests and charges are pending in this investigation.

The Orleans County Major Felony Crime Task Force, Medina Police Department, Niagara County Drug Task Force and Lockport Police Department all played a role in this investigation.
