BUFFALO, N.Y — A nurse who works at Erie County Medical Center found a ring at the hospital and it looking to get it back to its owner.
Sara Cichon (@microbemaster) posted her mother's story on Twitter with a picture of the ring. She says her mom found the ring two years ago, but gave up after several unsuccessful attempts to find the owner.
Now, Cichon is posting the picture of the ring so that she can finally get it back to where it belongs.
The ring is a gold wedding band with the date "8-7-65" engraved on the inside. There is also a message engraved.
Cichon is asking anyone who recognizes it to call the WKBW newsroom at 716-840-7777. She says the person who can relate that special message engraved inside the ring is the rightful owner, and she'd like to return it to you.
