BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — For twenty years, Mike Seege has been bringing magic into people's lives.

“And it’s been the best 20 years of my life until about until about 2 and half weeks ago,” Seege said.

With family gatherings, events, and birthday parties all on-hold. Mike is seeing all his work disappear.

“Within a matter of a couple phone calls, I mean thousands of dollars in shows have been canceled," Seege said. "And that was just in March.”

Seege does about 500 shows a year and for every month he can’t perform, he’s losing out on about 40 shows.

“Unfortunately they’re not even postponed, they’re just flat right out canceled," Seege adds.

So, he came up with a way to bring the magic to your screen.

“I started to think, you know jeez, why couldn’t we do a show like back and forth through like a streaming device like Skype or Zoom or anything like that.”

So that’s exactly what he’s been doing. For the last couple of days, Seege has been entertaining families, birthday boys and girls, and groups of friends.

“They have been the best thing ever. It is so awesome to once again see the smiles and the laughs and the cheers when you’re doing these tricks,” he said.

Each show is about 45 minutes and after the performance, Seege will even teach you a few tricks.

“It’s fun, it’s interactive and the best part is it kind of takes everybody’s mind off of what’s going on.
