BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — Easter is right around the corner and Lake Effect Ice Cream is putting a spin on the iconic butter lamb that is sure to please those with a sweet tooth.
Lake Effect Ice Cream is now taking pre-orders for its "butter lamb ice cream cake," which sold out in just a few days last year.
Lake Effect says not to worry this year, although they expect to sell out again they will have many more available.
"What is more iconic to Easter in Buffalo than the butter lamb?" The ice cream shop said in a Facebook post.
The "butter lamb ice cream cake" is one quart of special creamy, buttery ice cream with Easter grass frosting, spring flowers and a coat of fluffy frosting.
The pre-orders started Saturday and they can be picked up on April 4th at either of the Lake Effect Ice Cream locations in Buffalo or Lockport.
