LEWISTON, N.Y. (WKBW) — A road sign in the Village of Lewiston is getting a lot of attention for the way it reminded drivers to drink responsibly and plan sober rides.

As the Lewiston Jazz Festival came to a close, one of the officers with the department spelled out, "There are laws when you drink Claws" on the road sign. White Claw Hard Seltzer has been a popular drink this summer.

The department posted a photo to its Facebook page which read in part, "We never expected that it would go viral the way it did. But since it did we hope everyone got a good laugh, but also a friendly reminder to drink responsibly and plan ahead with a sober ride home."
