BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — The Erie County Legislature will hold a meeting Tuesday morning to discuss their plan to transition a majority of detainees from the Erie County Holding Center to the County Correctional Facility in Alden.
Informational sessions of both the Public Safety and Finance and Management Committee will begin at 9 a.m.
Following those sessions will be followed by a Zoom meeting at 1`1 a.m. with the Erie County Division of Budget and Management and other departments to discuss the impact of COVID-19 on Erie County’s fiscal status.
That meeting will feature Erie County Department of Health Commissioner Dr. Gale Burstein.
